We are not your average chicken coop and we are not a cheap coop kit. Our coops are purpose built specifically tailored for chickens safety and well being. Our products are durable and built to last for a very long time and won't fall apart after only a few months of use. Unlike some competitors we offer custom options to fit each of our clients and their flock's needs. We use livestock and poultry safe wood and paint. Together we manage a small hobby farm on 3 acres, a farm stand, and a small family owned and operated business Somo Coops. We started this business after months of shopping and research into chicken coops. After all the shopping around and looking into reviews on other coops we decided we could do it better, and we did. We never thought that we would gain such an interest in a coop we built for ourselves but neighbors and friends who saw our very first coop kept asking where they could get one and so the business was started. Haley and I met a few years ago and together we have a beautiful family, a small farm and a business. We are building a tiny home on the property and we love animals. Family, farming, and self sufficiency are a huge part of our lives. Join the Somo Coops family and lets grow together!

We are passionate about our animals and we strive to make sure they have only the highest quality housing and toys, that way they are not only safe but are also never bored. Chicken people are our people so let us share our love in raising them with you.
